Your booking addresses decide which cities earn a page
Export the last twelve months of booking addresses from the record system and count them by city. A city that sends patients today earns a page, because the page will be read by people like the ones already on your list. A city on the map that has never sent a patient gets a page later, after the first three are indexed and sending. Three to five cities is a first round. Lip filler is dermal filler placed in the lips, and a patient types it as lip filler, so the page is named that way with the generic beside it.
A page written for a person reads differently from a template in the first sentence
A template says the same four paragraphs with the city swapped, names no provider, gives no directions and uses a stock photo. A page written for a person opens with the treatment, the city and Dana's name in two sentences. It says who the treatment suits in plain words and that a consult decides. The visit is described the way your medical director has approved. Jess learns how long the drive is from her city, where to park and what the building looks like. Your own photos appear, with consent, and the five questions Priya hears from patients in that city are answered.
What goes in each section, and where it comes from
| Section | What goes on the page | Written from |
|---|---|---|
| Opening | The treatment, the city and the provider by name, in two sentences | The menu and the booking export |
| Who it suits | Plain words, with a consult deciding candidacy | The provider's own intake questions |
| The visit | What happens, how long it takes, aftercare in general terms, approved by your medical director | Dana's own walkthrough |
| Getting here | Drive time from that city, parking, the landmark next door | A team member who drives it |
| Photos | Your rooms, your provider, before and after with written consent | The practice's own camera |
| Questions | The five questions patients from that city ask, answered in full | Priya's call log |
The schema each city page carries
Every page carries the same medical business block as the rest of the site, identical to the character. The city page adds a service entry naming the treatment, the area served naming the city, FAQ markup matching the visible questions, and breadcrumbs. The full build, and which business type fits what you are licensed as, is in the schema markup and llms.txt guide. Markup that says something the page does not show is the one mistake that undoes the rest.
How to check the page is indexed
- Paste the URL into Search Console's URL inspection and read the verdict. A page that is not indexed shows the reason there.
- Add the URL to the sitemap and resubmit the sitemap.
- Request indexing once from the inspection screen and write the date in the sheet.
- Check again in a week. Search the exact page title in quotation marks as a second check.
- A page still unindexed after a month gets read for a noindex tag, a canonical pointing elsewhere, a robots rule, or copy too close to another page on the site.
Measure what each page sends, patient by patient
Search Console shows the queries each page appears for and the clicks it earns; log them weekly per page. The booking link on each city page carries a tag, so the record system shows which patients booked from it. Add a source field on the intake form that asks which city page they read, because the tag is lost when Jess calls instead of clicking. After a quarter the sheet shows impressions, clicks, consults and paying patients per city, and that decides which city gets the next treatment page.
How to do this on Monday
- Count last year's bookings by city and pick the top three.
- Ask Dana for a ten-minute walkthrough of a lip filler visit and write it down for the medical director to approve.
- Ask Priya for the five questions patients from the first city ask.
- Write the first city page from those notes, with your own photos, and tag the booking link.
- Submit it in Search Console and open the sheet with its first row.
