What Aesthetic Record is for
Aesthetic Record is an EMR and practice management system built for aesthetics practices. It holds the charts, the consents, the before-and-after photos, the calendar and the patient record, and all of it stays there. The page for Aesthetic Record sets out what stays in it, what is built around it and what the connection is.
A growth system reads the numbers out of the record first: revenue and margin by provider and by treatment, utilization and who is due. It builds the ninety-day plan from them. Then it adds the work around the record. The call and the DM are answered and booked into the Aesthetic Record calendar with the note attached. Comeback timing comes from the last treatment, the list is segmented for a party or a launch, and the numbers go on one page. Nothing is written into a chart. The full list is on the Aesthetic Record page; this page is about which job lives where and what a switch would cost.
The photos and the consents, and what the system does with neither
The before-and-after photos and the signed consents in Aesthetic Record are the two things the growth system is built to leave alone, and the two things that make the comeback message work. When a comeback reply comes in, the provider opens the chart and sees the note from the last visit, the photo from the two-week check and the treatment the consent covers. The system reads only the date and the treatment type, for timing. It never sends a photo, never names the treatment in a text, and never attaches anything to a chart. When Jess replies to a comeback text asking whether their last result is still holding, the message goes to Dana with the chart open, and Dana answers.
Job by job: where it lives and who does it

When staying on Aesthetic Record is right
Stay on Aesthetic Record, and for an EMR the reason is stronger than habit. The chart is the legal record of care, and moving it is a project with its own rules. We run on this platform today in a working practice. The growth system reads the visit dates it needs, books into the calendar with the note attached, and leaves the chart to the providers.
What a switch would cost you in time
An EMR switch is the costliest switch on this page because the chart moves with it. Charts, consents and photos go by export; the formats rarely line up, so someone on your team re-enters or re-attaches a share of them by hand. Retention rules apply to the old record even after the switch; confirm with counsel and your medical director what must be kept, where and for how long. Providers chart in two systems for as long as the overlap lasts. Any remaining term on the agreement is a separate question for counsel. None of that time brings one lapsed patient back.
How to do this on Monday
- Run a last-treatment report in Aesthetic Record by treatment type and count who is past their interval. That is the comeback list, and it stays inside the record.
- Open five of those charts and check that the consent on file covers the treatment they are due for. The ones that need a fresh consent get it asked for in the booking, not in the text.
- Check which of those patients have written consent to marketing texts on record; only they get a message, and what counts as consent is for counsel to confirm.
- Call your own number three times: mid-treatment, at lunch, after close. Note who picked up and what the patient would have heard.
- Send ten comeback texts by hand, in the provider's voice, without naming the treatment, and count who books.
